The lifeblood of the community movement

“The community movement is part of Quebec society as a whole; it originates from the community and is therefore more than just a component of the health, education and justice networks. The community’s place lies first and foremost in the community, in that vast social field where relationships are forged between citizens, where solidarity is forged, where the great transformative movements are born, and how the city is ultimately built. It is in relation to the social fabric, always under construction and evolving, that the community movement shapes itself and in turn shapes the community.”*
